In short
Gumb is a shift planning app for ride services, taxi and transport companies. Dispatch sets up early, night or weekend shifts as events, drivers report their availability with one click, and fixed assignments are marked with a star. Short-notice changes reach everyone by push notification and email, and every site plans in its own group scheduler. Gumb has no route planning, no time tracking and no payroll.

Frequently asked questions about the shift planning app for drivers
Which shift planning app suits drivers?
Gumb suits ride services, taxi and transport companies that want to plan shifts and assignments and do not need time tracking. Shifts are events, drivers report availability with one click, and the star marks fixed assignments.
How do I plan tours and weekends?
You set up weekend shifts and tours as events, also as a recurring series. Drivers report availability, and afterwards you mark with the star who drives. Gumb has no route planning.
How do drivers report their availability?
Drivers say yes or no per shift in the app or in the browser with one click, with a comment if they want. You see live who has not answered yet.
How do drivers hear about short-notice changes?
You edit the shift, and Gumb asks whether to send notifications. The push notification lands on the phone, even when the app is closed.
How do I hear early about vacations and absences?

Does every site plan on its own?
Yes. Every site gets its own group scheduler, and group events are visible only to its drivers. Several independent communities are available from the Premium plan.
Does Gumb track driving time, working hours or pay?
No. Gumb has no time tracking and no payroll. Whoever needs hours exports the attendance report from the statistics as an Excel file and continues in the spreadsheet.
Can drivers add the shift plan to their own calendar?
Yes. Drivers connect their calendar with Gumb and see their shifts next to their private events, with iCal, Google Calendar or Outlook.
Can I chat in Gumb instead of WhatsApp?
Yes. You chat one to one or in chat rooms right in the app, included in every plan. The team writes where the shift plan is.
